Couples Halloween Costumes for 2011

Halloween 2011 is already approaching fast! This year more adults and children will be looking to dress up as their favorite characters. Others are simply in search of a great idea so they'll have something to wear for their Halloween costume.  Many couples are out vying for top prize at a party.  No matter what the circumstance, it's important to achieve the right look, especially if showing unity is key.

Choosing from all the couples Halloween costumes for adults can be a tough task for pairs. Some couples are fine going as different costumed characters, but others such as husbands and wives or boyfriends and girlfriends want to dress up as a movie or TV couple.  Good examples from TV are "The Simpsons" and "Family Guy."

This year expect to see many vampires, movie characters and popular TV characters such as the "Jersey Shore" cast members or famous couples like Jay-Z and Beyonce out and about. This is what makes Halloween so exciting, because no two costumes are truly alike, thanks to the unique nature of each individual Halloween participant!

New Horror Movies 2010 Ready to Scare!

With Halloween approaching quickly, that means not only scary costumes, but scary movies! The Horror movies of 2010 are quite abundant and look to scare up a fun time all year-round, but especially as we near October 31st.

Among the movies arriving prior to Halloween in October 2010 are "Case 39" starring Renee Zelwegger, "Hatchet II," "Paranormal Activity," and "Let Me In." Each has its own particular shock value that is sure to keep audiences spooked for the Halloween season. The movies detail demons, ghosts, monsters, vampires and other spooky occurrences.

The "Saw" franchise won't die just like many classic slashers, and "Saw 3-D" will jump out at audiences on the 29th. The movie appropriately called "Monsters" also arrives to theaters on October 29th, just a few days ahead of Halloween 2010. Of course you could always rent some classics too, as there's numerous horror movies out on DVD, Blu-ray, and gasp, event VHS!

No matter which movie you choose, whether it be past or present, remake or completely new, keep the lights low as you partake in giving yourself some serious chills, goosebumps and freak-out moments!

The ultimate way to pay homage to all those spine-tingling slasher movies is to dress up as one of the all-time icons of horror. Consider going with the Freddy Krueger Halloween costume or a Friday the 13th classic, the Jason Vorhees Halloween costume to scare trick-or-treaters all over the place!
